Here's a section that will stir up a bit of friendly rivalry from the Canadian members here.It is about where in Canada they come from.
I'm sure that some people would like to know what proportion of members are from a Canadian province.Yes,Newfoundland is included.

Aidan.

I wish I were living in a Canadian province; I'm burning up here in Texas. I like Canada and it's coins, especially, Nova Scotia and New Foundland. I've Spent some time in Nova Scotia and really enjoyed it. I've also been to New Zealand a time or to and am curious as to what part of New Zealand you are from Aidan.

Check out this coin... I just thought of it because of what ichirensha said about liking coins of Nova Scotia:

http://auction.gatewestcoin.com/cgi...431&t=357323

Expensive, but I am actually thinking about buyng it as it is listed at about half of its actual value.

I was born in...
Canadian-Collectors'-Section.
...but my parents re-emigrated back to Australia a few weeks after I was born.

Visited my "homeland" as a kid back in 1983; stayed in...
Canadian-Collectors'-Section.
...for six months. It would probably be my favourite city in Canada.

One of these days I will make it up there Pattiewhack. I have always wanted to vacation there. My wife went to Toronto back in the 70's and she said it was great. It was the only thing she liked about her first marriage. ROFL!

We've been to most of the 50 states, to many islands in the Caribbean, and to Europe. But, darn it, haven't made it to Canada.

We have heard how beautiful places such as BC, Calgary, and Nova Scotia are, and we hope to visit one day soon.

Canadian coins are among my favorites, so along with sightseeing, I'll be filling containers with coins!
