NumisRob Bedrock of the Community United Kingdom 18562 Posts	Posted 09/08/2026 5:30 pm As a tour guide I quite often get Scottish, Channel Islands and Northern Irish notes. Some I get as tips, and others I exchange for English notes when I spot an American (or other non-British) tourist having trouble trying to spend one in a shop in England. Usually they are notes brought back from a previous vacation or, if the passengers are on a cruise, were received in change at a previous port call.
