The nickel on the right has no edge its flat and seems bigger then a normal nickel and also it seems to be silver sounds like a silver coin when dropped on my table its a 1971-d more pics to come later

It'll be interesting to see the photos. Are you saying it looks like a type 1 planchet?

It just looks like an old and dirty nickel that had its rim worn down.

You can always do the tissue test for silver:

I pretty sure silver nickels have "P", "D", or "S" over Monticello.
