This coin looks to be in excellent condition. However, the lighting is off I think. Have you tried different lighting conditions? Regardless, nice coin.

I took the first pictures under a dim reading lamp and it was very close to the coin so I had to angle the camera away from the glare of the lightbulb but a managed to get the details of the coin.
I used sunlight with these but it was too bright for my camera and I can't get it to focus but it's closer to the silver color.

Your last two images look pretty darn good to me. I'm not very good at taking pictures, so I guess I'm the last person that should criticize.

Thanks JW, I thought I had a nice bunch of coins for the vows in wreath reverse type until I just tried to take pictures of my other emperors. This coin is much better and I guess I will not post the others.

It's really a tin wash I'm not exactly sure about the process but I think I read somewhere they might have pickled the coins.

Jessvc1 that is very nicely detailed coin with great centering!

I have not heard of a tin wash before. Neat!

Thanks for all the compliments. I've been searching for silvered coins that aren't flaking and this and my licinius are up there with my favorite coins right now.
