I'd agree with VF35 and at worse a VF 30. A nice looking coin
and a perfect example as a type.
To cross over to XF it would need to show more three-dimensionality on the lower half
of the "LIBERTY" band as well as a sharp line.
Any Barber half above fine is a tough coin and I like this one.
Remember that Barber collectors are fussy about the "LIBERTY" band.

Brother, can you spare a "BARBER" dime?

I appears to be right on the line between a VF-35 and a EF-40. Nice coin!

Thank you everyone! I was thinking it was at least a VF35 but not sure about XF40, which is why I posted it. I won it this morning at auction for 66 euros ($81.70).

I'm a barber half collector but I'm not spending the money to get the liberty band, vg8 for $15 to $20 is good to me.
