The sellers who were selling them as "presales" made more money than those who waited to receive them and resell. Personally, with the way the Mint has operated in the past, I do not recommend presales. It's too easy for the mint to tell you one day that your item is going to ship and then to tell you 3 days later that your order has been cancelled. Report this Post to the Staff

grovey Valued Member United States 440 Posts	Posted 06/02/2005 4:41 pm I am waiting until september when the new 6 coin nickel set comes out just like 2004. the 2 proofs and 2 p &d. they sold very quickly. thye sold at the mint for $ 12.95 and now are alomst $35.00-$40.00. The set was extremely overpriced for what was inside. Didn't waste no time selling it and darn sure don't want any more of them. Many of you should do well if you sell immediately upon receiving your sets. I agree with Susan when she advised against pre-sales. Those can be a very big mess! Good luck!
