O Canada Subscription Coins

You see that's the difference from an actual Coin dealer compared to these guys that are buying up the 'special coins' till they are sold out then scalping them at twice the price or more. I agree with Commems in that as a business they will try their best to make amends, but mistakes will happen.

For the most part, I prefer my local coin shop to either the RCM 0r Canada Post - or the online dealers - Stop in, talk with the owners, get to know him or her, and you're likely to enjoy the experience. It is their job to see that the customer is happy.

I received the first coin today from the mint. It's a very nice looking coin. Unfortunately there is a fiber in the capsule :/

They are sending me a new capsule.

Well, I just like this coin plus all the animal coins plus the color maple. Not others which is lame to me.

Just received my coin today as well. I have to admit that I'm much more impressed with the coin in hand. Pictures IMHO didn't do it justice.

I think this will be a nice series.

I don't know if it's news, but I just got an email from the mint with all of the designs now on display. Still they are only one a month, but you can see them all now.

I received mine today and I am very pleased with it.

Does anyone know with type of box that comes with this set if there is a place to keep the COA?

I saw that the GO7 box has a spot for them (but they don't fit that well.) On this one there doesn't appear to be a visible place to store them but wonder if there is a place underneath to store them.

Wondered that too but I suspect that the top will have slots for the COAs (similar to the Go7) since the coins and the COAs are similar in size. Then again, that might make for a pretty crowded display.

It's more than likely that no one knows for sure because the boxes probably haven't been spec'd or ordered by the Mint yet.
