I just picked this one up today, but I am not having much luck finding this coin in my Krause. Is this coin in fact from Mongolia, as I suspect? If not, where is it from? Any help IDing this coin and its KM# would be appreciated!

This coin is not listed in the normal edition of Krause, but can be found in the unusual coins edition:

Value at this moment: 22,5 USD (and this is a proof CuNi coin according to Krause)

Jupke- Wow, thank you very much for the help! I wonder why this coin is not part of the normal Krause books. Does anyone know?

According to the Schön catalog, that coin may have been issued by an non-authorized party ("wurden möglicherweise von unbefugter Seite in Auftrag gegeben"). Seems that the theme (there were two issues) was the Friendship Games in 1984 ...
