I just noticed that 'Policeauctions.com' is advertising on here. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, it is a scam. The jewellery is all fake, not real gold and gems. I wouldn't be surprised if the coins are fake as well.

Whenever I see posts like this, I cringe.

That link talks about people buying stuff advertised as being worth over $17,000 but only paying a couple hundred dollars. I mean, give me a break... These are the same kinds of people who buy $50 gold tribute proofs on TV for $9.99 and then complain that it wasn't a real gold coin.

I hate to say it but with jerseyben. When something is too good to be true, it usually is. If the bidders understand that, then they will most likely be satisfied.

I figured it out as soon as I saw the website. I just wanted to let everyone here know, there are young collectors here and many members have probably been scammed before. I don't want to see anyone get ripped off from an ad they saw on this website.

I'm curious if the coins they sell are real. I didn't even know they sold coins until I saw the ad.
