Poll Question
As collectors of Australian coins we are the Third largest group on this forum

Most Australian Collectors are in Australia
but where are the rest of us located?

Australia might be the third-largest country, but I'd reckon that "third largest group" on this forum would be the Ancients forum. It's been very busy down there lately.

I am a Sydneysider. Fortunately, there is some excellent numismatic professional expertise in Sydney that I have access to, if I need the assistance.
I am also into neoclassic American Coinage. As a group, it has the best medallic artwork of ALL World coinage, and is a credit to the heritage of the good 'ole U.S. of A.
For me, there is plenty of American expertise available, here in the CCF!
I used to have a complete Australian gold type set, including an Adelaide Pound, but all that was gone years ago, to raise a deposit for 1/3 of the value of our first house. I have acquired a few nice pre decimal since then, but not much.
My American collection is now MUCH larger than my current Australian collection!
My first love is ancients.
