Dave42 Pillar of the Community United States 571 Posts	Posted 02/12/2013 11:54 am Sorry, this is just damage. Typically known as a "hammer" or "vise" job. Someone took 3 coins, stacked them up, and either hit them very hard with a hammer, or crushed them together in a vise. Yours was the coin in the center. You can tell this is what happened because the images are pressed into your coin and are reversed. There is also quite a bit of damage to the rim on the reverse.
