I think this is a large mint mark (FS-501). Do you agree?

Yes, that is the large mintmark, I believe.

There is a premium although it's probably not that much in this low of a grade.

Auction data from PCGS CoinFacts shows numerous sales but all in higher grades than my coin (these coins were slabbed by PCGS): AU55 Sept2012 $58, MS64 May2012 $155, and so on. Cherrypicker's most recent version puts the values at roughly half of recent real-life sales, so perhaps interest/value is picking up.

I believe that I may have a 1941-s large date nickel with full steps! Anyone want to weigh in?

Might be a large mm but sure doesn't look like FS from the photo submitted. Can you post a much closer pix?
