1938 D And 19*0 Quarters?

I am not sure if you guys could tell the date of the Standing Liberty quarter by looking at something it has. I know it has a 0 I think for sure. But is there anyway you can look at something?

1938-D-And-19*0-Quarters?


About the 1938, it has a D on the back. I tried taking photo's but none of them came out good. It's not just a mark... it's real there. But bigger than a normal mint mark size D. So somebody must of put it there? The D is very weak.

I don't see any date on the SLQ. If the remnant of the 0 is visible, it would be a 1920 since 1930 had a recessed date. The Washington quarter looks like a 1938-P to me. The "D" looks like a couple of hits.

Thanks double eagle, I guess it's a 1920 then. If you hold it in hands under light you see a zero if you turn it a little. The 1938 quarter mint mark does look fake. I know they didn't make 1938 D's.
