this was a 35 th birthday present from my business partner 35 years ago. I had not seen it in almost 20 years and forgot I had it.I would like to get it authenticated and graded but I hear so many conflicting reports on inconsistencies in the grading even within the same service.

Full disclosure ...LOL...it was a gift 22 years ago for my 35th. If I'm 70 I should be retired.....
