I purchased a coin that has a PL63 grade and listed as a ICCS graded this is a first for me I have not seen a PL63?

A proof like coin not handled properly (stored in a bag but handled with gloves, probably.) Unless it's a key date, I suppose you should return the coin. Proof like coins don't often increase in value unless the inflation causes it to do so.

I've had one or two pass through my hands before. As @petersun said, key dates where it was still worthwhile.

Thanks, it was a 1953 half LD - thinking of sending it back if it is in no mans land. I take it the PL63 coins ran out of steam after falling off the MS gravy train :{

PL 63 1953 fifty cents is still a decent coin pretty scarce in real PL
