nalaberong Pillar of the Community Canada 2805 Posts	Posted 05/30/2013 11:26 pm I've heard that after Kennedy's assassination, certain people drilled holes through the heads of their new 1964 halves for reasons of poor taste. However, I haven't found any pictures of these halves - all I've seen are typical necklace/pendant holes, and now I'm curious if this "variety" of PMD really exists. Does anyone own or have pictures of a Kennedy half with a hole put right through the head? Report this Post to the Staff

So lets say only 1000 1964 Kennedy's had holes drilled into there head. Now look at that number, it's 1000. So this means it's very rare to find one. So, relating to your census of Rednecks there is a slight confusion of association. I was not aware that 'Rednecks' were drilling holes into Kennedy half dollars.
