I'm not a SLQ, but the coin seems highly reflective.
Is it a proof, polished coin, or just a lighting trick?

I dont own this yet, however, it appears to be a business strike. the thing that bothers me is the off-color area on the wing and the marks under QUARTER DOLLAR near the rim. the reverse surfaces have me concerned as well but I thought it was a good solid strike and details. normally you see weak shields and eagle chest. wish I could see better pics.

I would ask the seller for better photos on this one before buying. Something seems a bit too good about this coin, the details seem far to sharp. I would think the seller would take the time to remove it from the 2 x 2 and get some great photos unless they are trying to hide something.

Can you say what bothers and concerns you? Maybe I can learn something...

The way it is photographed does not show any luster, and luster is critical to grading high grade coins. That is why it was suggested that it may be polished since that could remove luster on an otherwise problem free coin. The details looks Mint State, but that is all I can really say.

I agree - either a bad picture or this is at least a 64+ FH/65 FH/66 FH.

If this coin has booming luster, this is a 66 FH.

Sure. the area on the wing seems to be off-color from the rest of the coin. this could have been cleaned and is hidden with lighting. along the lower rim there are little marks that maybe scratches or just something on the packaging since it appears that they shot this through it.

It looks at least an AU but from those pictures I can't tell if it would be considered problem free or not. Perhaps the stuff by quarter dollar is small pieces of cardboard.
