Correct. Even if the date has been worn down, this is an easy one to date because 1911 was the only year the "Godless Obverse" was used. The one on the left you can see the "DEI GRA." (grace of God) has been added to the legend , after public out cry over it being removed from the coins of 1911. The 1911 is to the right.

OH....crud I got myself involved in a history lesson.
Nooooooooooooooooooo

I think I have a few of these and I never really noticed that before. And I do like histories of coins....that's my favorite part...besides the shininess.

G'day, live & learn ...
the Australian coins of 1911 have "D.G. BRITT. OMN. REX F.D.". I hadn't realized that Canada & Oz had diverged so much.
The "Godless" thing is a bit repetitive: the 1849 florin; and in Oz, the 1953 & 1954 coins omitted "F.D.", but it was restored in 1955.
Thanks for that,
Peter in Oz

In the group shot you can see George VI and Elizabeth II coins of the same size, plus a Bluenose reverse peeking out amongst them. Therefore 10 cents.

Cool trivia...interesting how people worried about "godless conspiracies" even back then.
