powertake New Member Australia 2 Posts	Posted 11/14/2013 01:34 am Hey guys just recently going through my stuff when I found a token / coin given to me by my parents. Its a "Russian American Company" coin they said they got it for the wedding many years ago (23ish). Just wondering if it has any worth or a market for it. Susuman Pillar of the Community United States 595 Posts	Posted 11/14/2013 05:18 am I have no idea on value, but it looks like some sort of commemorative token for the 200th anniversary of the US Constitution and 175th birthday of Fort Ross. Fort Ross is north of San Francisco in California, and was the southern most outpost of the Russian-American Company in the US. I believe that it was abandoned by the Russians in the 1860's following the purchase of Alaska by the US from Russia. Fort Ross is now preserved as a California State Park. Seems to be a rather odd token though, I mean pairing the anniversary of the US constitution with a Fort Ross birthday. Report this Post to the Staff
