This has probably been asked a bunch of times, so apologies in advance. I have just begun to place a few bids on online auctions on a couple of Auctionzip sites. What are some of the better recommended auctions CCF members use? I've seen Heritage mentioned a few times. If there is a good thread or two on this subject, please link. Thanks. Ed
Baldwin's (London) is up there with the World's best. Strong in rare coins of all types: ancients medieval milled and World coins and medals. The epitome of a top quality British numismatic auction house.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Yes Auctionzip definitely has buyer premiums and expensive shipping. The premiums vary widely so one has to pay attention. Let me ask a stupid ? Don't all auctions have buyer premiums? Thanks. Ed
Not all auctions have a buyer's premium. I attend live auctions with no buyer premium. Online however, it seems like most do, or some type of fee to offset.
