I think they can`t spell Vitellius even though they have the coin right in front of them.

I don't know about the one on the right but the left one looks good.

Don't like either of them - both look cast.
Look for matches on FAC Fake Reports, pretty sure you will find them.

I think the "vitellius" is cast. Not bothered if I get both for 3.99, at least 1 for the black collection and it takes it off the market. Not going to bid any higher :)

Thank you Vermont! I think I can see casting pearls on the obverse of the vitellius. Not sure about the other one, having doubts, but need to see it in hand really. Seems very large for a greek coin, I don't have many to compare.

They are both NG. If you really need a coin of "Vito" I have an As I bought in Spain last fall. Under $100 which is less than you usually find for a decent VITELLIVS. Times are hard .......

Thanks echizento.
I shouldn't really be spending anything at the moment, the trip to India is round the corner in March. FR if it is still available in April, I might take a look :)

Vermont, that is seriously cold. We were told that northern parts could have got to -61, I can't imagine anything close to that. -10 is highly unusual for us and the log burner is on way before that happens!

Quote: Lets just say pishpash parts of our upper Mid-West got to minus 45°F Difficult for us to imagine - although it rains here a lot it rarely gets very cold. Good thing really, as soon as we get a 1/4 inch of snow all the teachers refuse to go to work and the trains and buses stop, we used to rule the world, look at us now
