Authentic heart-shaped cobs are very rare in the first place and may cost as much as $ 5K. In most cases they change hands at well reknowned auctions (such as Sedwicks' and others), certainly not on ebay with a $280 starting bid. Other red flags are: low weight (should be close to 7 gr.), no information as to its provenance and generally phoney appearance. Certainly, by now, there is enough ground for suspicion to check relevant databases, starting as always with Sedwicks' "fake cobs to avoid"- and bingo! there it is, listed as #FC53670

I reported it 2 days ago, but no action seems to have been taken yet. (I had alerted the seller in very polite terms before I did so, but he chose not to respond.)
