No experiences with them. However, I always try to point out that you should not go by looks. Although and coin Album, Folder, holder, etc. may be appealing for looks, remember that you should be the only one that normally will see them. Placing anything of value out in the open is not to smart today. And coins are a good example.

Thanks Carl, I understand what your saying. I'm just having a problem deciding on what to put proof coins into. I have Dansco albums I keep everything in, but had rather (just me) keep proof coins in something else. Don't really like the staple 2x2, like the look of the self adhesive (but the jury is still out on them), any suggestions?

At one time, I used the Eagle holders and albums for a number of coins and medals in my collection. I never had any issues with them and none of the pieces I've stored in them have shown any sign of a storage problem. I still have a number of pieces in them.

A few years back, however, I transitioned to Air-Tite brand holders. I find them a bit more secure; I like the flexible inner ring that securely holds each coin/medal.

I store some of my Air-Tite encapsulated pieces in simple plastic row boxes, but put others in albums that I purchased either from Eagle or Lighthouse.
