Probably this: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds1963D-1DO-001 CLASS 8 (MDS) CONECA: 1-O-VIII | Crawford:CDDO-001 Wexler: WDDO-001 | FS#:1C-025.8 So far, 16 of them. All are BU, these are probably LDS since it looks like its fading out.

On the EDS you can see the tail under the 3. Those are more valuable, The LDS you might still see a portion of the tail. There are two different Denver mint ones. This is a proof one as well:

I'm close to 30-35 of these. Even at LDS, I can live with the prices, since they are BU, probably average MS63, a few higher. These will help recoup the costs of the rolls if I get a few more. Then whatever else is found is pure profit along with the rolls. My son, his friend and I were hitting the bag pretty good, and we are averaging maybe 1 in 100 coins or so. So If I end up with a full roll, that's awesome.
Yeah, that made my day a little bit brighter = )

Very nice find. Coppercoins mentions the price reduction for the later die states. Still a nice haul.

I don't use Coppercoins prices, and I am sure they don't use them either. I have no idea where they get their pricing from. Of course, I can live with the logic of the better the coin looks and represents itself, the more potential in price. The ole addage says - a collectible is only as valuable as the collector is willing to pay for it. I am not out to price gouge anyone, but I think of this in a logical way, and thats how I market things. A person can go out and buy roll after roll and try to pull one of these, or, simply buy one or more - or all - for a set price. I like the larger amount finds because that means the coins longevity will be there. I am in no rush to sell these, since they are not exactly easy to pick. The strange thing about this is, I have more of these DDO's than I have RPM's from the bag and rolls. Not complaining one bit, just odd to see the ratio backwards. Over a cup of coffee one morning, I will look to see if there are any subtle variety / difference between these DDO's.

Repunched dates do not exist on any 20th century coin series because the dates were part of the hub design and were never punched on the working dies.

Hate to get off topic but what type of lens do you use for those pics? Nice find(s) by the way! Wasn't aware of these.

It is a Class 8 Doubled Die(tilted hub doubling) For a detailed description of Class 8 doubling and other examples, read Wexler's write-up

Thank you, that makes sense. I knew there had to be a term for it.
