Can someone please post pictures and/or give a detailed description on what the difference is between the light satin finish and the regular finish? From the comparison photos I have seen, I cannot tell a difference.
Thanks for the links. I bought a couple of Grand Canyon PCGS SP68 coins and a couple of Yosemite PCGS SP68. One of the Grand Canyons looks different, like it may be a light satin finish. I still can't tell for sure 100%.
If a satin, it would look smoother, less grainy, be more brillaint, but, with a low-gloss matte finish..find any 2007-2010 uncirculated satin finish kenndy half..look at the fields, and, then you'll know...if your ATB looks similar, tahn you have one scare "coin"...good luck..hope you have one....you can always take it to a good coin shop, and ask their opinion..also, look at the ones for sale on ebay, then, find a "regular" issue..the difference is big enough to spot without much training...
