Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what dates are rare or semi-key when it comes to the Canadian penny? I still collect them and keep of course the Canadian cents that I find CRHing. Such a shame they are not being minted anymore.

Thanks
John

John, 1920-30 are the most desirable. however items like 1965 pointed 5, 1985 pointed 5 are a couple popular rarities.

you can use this site http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php to find all the varieties and pricing, however the site itself has been down for a few days.

Once the following website is back up take a quick spin through the price lists and they'll flag the valuable ones to you.

The website is archived at Wayback Machine. I don't know if all the pages were archived, but here's the archived homepage.
