No more free shipping from asyn.
Gone, just like the penny and the PL set. "Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

U sure...? I thought the free shipping was still in effect for single coins just not rolls or cases... Dang..say what you want about asyn I always liked that they had so much at any night if I was bored it gave me something to do

..So far it has not..people are bidding like crazy..then paying $3.oo or 6.oo more for just one lot, for shipping...My own example 3 single coins-2x10c, 1x25c free ship..then PL set 3.oo shipping, and then a stamp book with stamps 6.oo shipp-So for me to get my 5 items or lots shipping was 9.oo extra...The World is Modernizing-Changing, we didn't know how good we had it in the old days (The old days ended last week I guess)...Can Someting be Done?/ I think us collecters are going to lose...Asyn will get rich ...(Well he will do better than last year this year)..

..I'm bored already- like yu I would go through all 3 company's listings for a day..I just may give up e-bying now....To many changes- Asyn, the bay itself, rules, shipping, selling rates...All adds up to I am sick..

There's still some good stuff out there... just last week I received in the mail 19 .50 cent pieces... bought each individual one for less than $6.. shipping was $5 .. but the seller said they would combine shipping on up to 5 items....In the end I picked up a whole bunch of '40's 50 cent pieces for just a touch over melt at that time...
There are still deals out there ya just now have to really look !

..With Asyn those 50c pieces would hav gone for 8.oo ea. So 6.oo is great bargin..good for you..Some not 8. but even 15.!!You did get great bargin..I just saw now, if you would buy from him at 8. now also 2.95 gets added for shipping..I have been enjoying his old free ship from the fall til now..Anyone know how many years of free shipp/?  Agc you also get beer with yu popcorn...great..  Edited by persistnt

If not for asyn Canada Post would have lost even more money than they recently announced. Guess he got tired of propping them up.

..  .with Lyra, Canada Post needs to thank Asyn....I do know some of Asyn's stamps he bought at lower than face..I was able to do so myself on a small lot from B.C. auction years ago..Other Auctions had them as well.below face value...I guess us collecters now are paying a price for Canada's increasing Post price.. He does. 1-4 coins: $2.50. 5-8: $5.00 etc.
At least he still lists in Canadian money. I have noticed a trend towards Canadian sellers asking for payment in American funds since the loonie dropped.

I used to buy quite often from asyn, but then the taxman caught up with them. Shipping charges make it worse.

You have 7 days to combine shipping.
Asynpaper is charging $1 and selling most listing 4 or 5 banknotes and you can combine shipping so I consider it's still very fair.
