It is slightly larger than a centimeter and weighs roughly 0.67 grams, and is copper color. I suspect at least one of my images is upside down.

This is one of the Princely States of India. I have one at home, but off the top of my head I cannot remember which it is(Maybe Bengal)

You're right, it is from one of the Princely States of India! That was enough information to lead me to a picture of this coin. I think it is:
Bala Rama Varma II / Milled Coinage
India, Princely States, Travancore, 1 Cash, 1828-45, 10 mm, Copper, KM# 57
Obv: Sankha (conch shell) in 8 pointed star
Rev: Malayafam "ORU KASU" (one cash)

This is neat! It is my first coin from a Princely State! One coin closer to one from everywhere...

Thanks!

Well spotted (no pun intended).
However, going by the weight, I think it's more likely to be Rama Varma VI: KM 46 (1901-1910)
