Just wanted to share a tip I came up with,some of you may have already figured it out.I had some tubes that had loose tops on them.I put a piece of transparent tape on the threads and now the caps screw on tight.

Recycle them and buy new ones with lids that stay tight

I picked up several boxes of coin stuff at an auction. 2x2s,air tights,plastic pages for 2x2s,and lots of tubes. Probably a quarter of which don't have lids. Trying to decide whether to throw them away or find some kind of use.
