Hi all I'm new her
and I found this coin while walking around my neighborhood

I think this is a "T'ung Chih" at least thats what I deducted from my research. I would like some conformation or an ID if I'm wrong.

Hello and welcome.

Sadly, though, we must be bearers of bad news in regards to your coin. It is a machine-struck modern replica of a Tong Zhi (old spelling T'ung Chih) cash. The distinctive feature in this case is the characteristic "down-sloping" script used to write the mintmark. Here's a recent thread with another fake cash coin; a different obverse, but the same downward-sloped script on the reverse.

The real one should say :
Chinese writing
top: T'ung
bottom: Chi
right: T'ung
left: pao
reads as Tung-chih T'ung pao (or chinese variations)
Emperor Tung-chih ruled from 1862 till 1874

Bottom picture is in mandarin writing: mintmark at right : Hu Pu board of revenu
