Hey Fellow CCF Members, So I'm currently in Mumbai (India) and will be here for the rest of the week on my tour of Eastern Asia. Lucky for me, it turns out that the 12th Annual Show is being held here this weekend and I'm thinking of checking it out. It's a bit far, about 1 1/2 Hours of Driving from where I'm staying but looks like a lot of dealers will be there and there will be plenty of displays. The Show is held by the Mumbai Coin Society: http://www.mumbaicoinsociety.org/I know there aren't many Indian members on the forum but is anyone planning on attending or has attended in the past? I will update this topic with my acquisitions and experience Edited by zxcccxz 08/06/2014 08:40 am

Keep us updated, zxcccxz! By any chance, will you be visiting S. Korea? Well, the 2014 PhilaKorea philately fair will be held from August 7 to 12. Some major stamps will be displayed there including an example of the famous Inverted Jenny. There will be many coin dealers there, too. At least I'm going

Not South Korea I'm afraid. I've already been to Hong Kong, too many fakes made there to trust anything that I buy, especially since I'm unfamiliar with Chinese Coinage. After Mumbai, I'll be in Bangkok, Thailand then Singapore and finally Bali and Java in Indonesia.

Ok, so I'm not sure as to whether I should post here or make a seperate thread but I guess since I'm likely the only one posting, I shouldn't clog up the forum with an extra thread. So, here's my first acquisition of the trip, not from the show but I visited a local shop and got it fairly cheap. Weight and size checks out. Looks to be a KM# 450.7 of the Scarcer Thin Lettering Variety. Here's the NGC Page: http://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/...-duid-336735Here's a picture of the coin: Color looked a bit washed out in the pics but the coin is a nice even dark tone qith some rainbow around the bust. I will keep the thread updated with anything else I get.

Oh, and I also got a reference book for varieties, a price guide (Including mintages and types) and a 5oz Melted Silver Bar. Will keep this thread updated if I buy anything else on my trip
