Bobby,
Is there a way to add somewhere on the forum a time indicator on the site.
Like something that would show 'Forum time now is___EST'

Bobby,
Google has some really cool clocks. Not sure you would
be able to use for the site but here it is.

While you at it ... any way to allow the user to set his/her time zone into the profile? It's available on some other forums I've visited. I've noticed all the times listed on the posts are Eastern, and I'm stuck here in Central. It's easy for me to add an hour, but our European and Asian members must need a calculator.

That's a much bigger job, we'll see.

That would be Google time then not Forum time. Naw, I'll get with Rui and see how to pull the time from the server then I can style it however I want. May be a few days before I get to it though.

Oh Okay Bubby
I didn't know that. I'm sure you and Rui will come up with something.

Thanks,

How about make SFT (Standard Forum Time) just make up a time that is recognised by the forum. Instead of GMT or the US timezones or anything else.

It may take a day or two to learn but it will be effective.
And won't be biased :D

Or how about a combination of all time zones. Where the first in line would be the forum's time zone and the other time zone's follow accordingly.

Just a thought,
