Found 2 Star Notes Today - Coin Community Forum

nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 09/23/2007 2:29 pm Today I found 2 Star notes and a wheres George $20 Will register the George note later today. The two stars are $20 2004 series one is marked E5 with a b in the corners the other is marked G or C 7 with an F in the corners. Are these anything special or not? they are both complete without rips but have some folds Report this Post to the Staff

hunter20ga Pillar of the Community United States 1173 Posts	Posted 09/23/2007 4:39 pm I don't have my reference materials with me, so can't give you a definitive answer on the values, but would suspect that there is at best a small premium over face value for circulated 2004 star notes. That doesn't mean that 20 or 30 years from there won't be more of a premium, of course! It's always fun to find star notes in circulation. I keep every one that comes my way.
