Sap, please look at the 3rd note in my 3rd post in this thread. Can you tell me anything about it? It's a Chinese custom gold unit.

These were given to my sister and then she gave them to me. My guess is that it's a lottery tickets because of the gold scratch offs.

Then there is a Japan Occupied note.

The next note I believe Jim has posted before.

The last note is 1930 China 20 Custom Gold Units.

I am summoned...

The note in your third post is from China; the Central Bank was the main government-backed bank of the Republic (Nationalists). The Customs Gold Unit was a currency unit released by the Bank to attempt to combat worsening inflation; there were 20 "old yuan" to a CGU. The Republic was losing the war, and confidence that they could turn things around and start winning was low. The attempt to curb inflation failed; notes as high as 250,000 CGU can be obtained fairly easily, though you probably won't find notes above 25,000 CGU in a bargain bin.

This note is dated Year 19 of the Republic (1930), but notes with this date were issued up until the end of WWII.
