hello all see I have this coin, its a 2002 silver eagle, that happens to be a rev proof, I know it seems like a gimick, from what ive heard around, its not possible or its painted!, but I took mine to a few jewelers an wanted to make sure its the real thing. thay said that its not paint, that its a silver flat, or matte finnish, that only leads me to believe its a test piece? could it be? what do u the ppl think~> we want 2 kno, t/y jon

Whoa there 4844mobley! Welcome to the forum. I could see why you might be excited. This is the area where you introduce yourself to the family. Next post your question in the main forum area and include pictures or scans. It will be impossible for us to help you without them. First things first ... tell us a little about yourself.

welcome to the forum and please use the whole keyboard when typing, we don't charge for each letter typed so no need to use text language here on the boards .Now that the jokes are done, We would really need to see a picture of the coin in question to give an honest opinion on it, I have to say I have never seen anything like what you are describing come from the mint so I am anxious to see a picture of it if at all possible

I removed your email address from your post as spam bots are constantly harvesting emails that are publicly posted.

As far as your pictures go, click on Uploading Images link above the reply box and follow the instructions there. It also explains what characters cannot be used and the format your file names need to be so that they will upload correctly. If you are still having problems, email your pics to me and I'll see what the problem is and help you out.
