It's always a pleasure to delve into the fantastical world of Eisenhower dollars. In this video, I put together some great historical information about the striking of 1972 Ike dollars with some fantastic coins from my friend Troy Weaver's stunning collection.

If you don't want to go hunting through rolls of Ikes after seeing this, you probably aren't too into modern coins!

My local banks don't carry Ike rolls.

Thanks for the video!

The (Uncirculated) '72 Ike is a special one for me. I'd started my coin collection 4 years earlier, but the '72 Blue Ike was my first purchase from the US Mint. Although many coins have passed through my hands over the years, this one is still a part of my collection...

The 1972 Ike was actually fy first coin... I saw it in one of those skill crane games and I was like: "I just spent $0.25 for $1 [d-peper]!" and it want untill I found my first Wheat cent that I realized I should start collecting. I Loooooovvvve ikes
Good video, turns out I have a type 3!
