Just wanted to see how this was affecting all you down there in the US. Not much has changed here, though. You still have to pay $28.00 for a book while the US price is $22.00. So far Wally World ( Wal-mart) is the only store that has changed to using American pricing on their stock, which still has the higher Canadian prices on it...

It's going to take time to filter down. I work at the wholesale and, and believe me, we are hearing it every day at work. We are giving discounts left and right, but we are still selling stock that was bought back when the dollar was at 85 cents. (Which wasn't THAT long ago). If the dollar stays where it is, then I expect pricing to start coming in line after the new year. Walmart can do it now, because they have enough muscle to go back to their suppliers and as for a refund on sales that happened before the $CAD got this high. Smaller stores aren't that fortunate.
