If you were able to identify this coin as a proof, however, it would be somewhat more valuable, since it would be missing the "S" mint-mark that signifies it was struck at the San-Francisco mint.
But the more likely assumption from your pictures would be that this coin was struck in 1975 at the Philadelphia mint (shown by the lack of mint-mark). CoinFacts lists the mintage of this coin to be 568,760,000.
Overall, this dime is probably worth face value ($.10) in the U.S., but you will have gained valuable knowledge from the members of this forum that can be applied to situations later in your collecting journey!
