my oldest coin would be a old Valens coin dated somewhere between 364-378-A.D.

My oldest coin is a silver denarius depicting Julius Caesar facing right, wearing a laurel wreath on the obverse. A cornucopia and globe on the reverse. From either 43 B.C. or 42 B.C.

I assume you are refering to Canadian Coins. Not counting Colonial tokens it would be an 1858 one cent.

Oldest world coin: ancient Greek, 1/12th stater of the city of Miletus, circa 500 BC.

Oldest "Canadian" numismatic item: Nova Scotia 1 penny 1824.

My oldest Canadian coin/token is an 1815 flying eagle half penny. My oldest coin overall is a Louis XIV jeton from approximately 1643.

In circulation, the oldest I've got is 1961? I have bad luck...but in roll searches, I've found a 1929 penny and 1930 nickel. In my entire collection, the oldest is a 1912 large cent.
