MS 63 with the hits on the cheeks and a couple large one in the fields. I don't know this coin very well at all, so this is just my educated guess.

Thanks for the opinions so far. It was graded PCGS UNC Cleaned.

I'm just a beginner but I don't see the normal lines I would expect from improper cleaning. I assume they are referring to how, for example, on the front it appears that the faces are a different color than the rest of the coin...as if that center part was rubbed clean? Perhaps the cleaning was done a long time ago?

Ah, good point. Yeah, I really like this coin a lot...it's a keeper from an inherited collection.

I was going to opine UNC - Details (really).

The bag hits keep this at MS63 range if original surfaces ... the hairlines visible in several locations and uneven coloration lead to a cleaned conclusion.

Nice coin however it was judged.

I thought this was an UNC coin. Shame for the hairlines that created a details grade.
