Either a, non plated broadstrike, a zinc plated broadstrike, a non plated Texas Cent, or a zinc plated Texas Cent. It is hard to tell for sure from the pics. Is that copper showing on the sides? And please try to crop your photos.

Can we see it next to a cent and a nickel?

It's a " Texas Cent", it's been hammered between two pieces of leather. The coin expands and the copper plating will crack and fall off.
