Product limit of 200K and now showing "back order"

Both coins are in capsules and mounted on a bubble card.

First impressions - WOW! PL designation would be close. Upon looking at each with a 10x loupe, um, er...well, leave a little to be desired. One of the 2014 P has three significant drag marks located diagonally across the shield.

If a person is looking for an MS70 pair from the 5 sets I purchased, I don't know that can happen.

I bought four -- two for me and two for gifts. To be honest I haven't examined them under magnification. Some folks have complained about the silver sets as well, so this weekend I'll probably take a few minutes to examine all of them closely.

Mine are on back order. My Silver set though is error free. Although I have seen some of the other buyers having some issues with QC.

I agree with acloco. The eye appeal is great. But through a loupe, not so good. If what I've seen is any indication, getting an MS70 set won't be easy.

I received my sets a while ago and the quality of these clad coins far exceeds the four coin silver set. I do have a few with marks but I also have some that look perfect.

I just wish my silver looked this good....

I bought 3 sets looking at them with the naked eye they look great but I haven't checked them with a loop yet. I will bust one out for my Kennedy Album and keep the other two intact. Still trying to figure out how to remove them without destroying the package that they came in.

I bought two at a coin show for $12 each. Mine look fine. I think I will try to pick up a few more from the mint site (back-order). I would like to give as gifts as to nephews.

I ordered 1 when they were released and picked up a second with the silver set. I'll probably sell the second set to help reduce the cost of the silver set.

I've got a set on back order, I expect to have it in hand by the end of November. I haven't decided whether or not to bust it out of the OGP yet, that decision will be made when I have the set in hand.

Ok can someone please tell me (or direct me to a forum) that explains how best to examine coins for these marks and/or what a loop/loupe is? Eye appeal for my silver set is amazing and don't see any defects but being able to see closer would be great!

Here's an example of a loupe.

Saw this picture on another thread. Zoomed in and added the arrows. This is one of the halves in the JFK set.

Just looked at the 5 UNC sets again (received yesterday). The P mintmark will have the best chance at grading high. Looks like all but one of my D minted reverses have an issue or two. One, clearly has three drag marks across the shield. Another has struck through issue.

I indirectly purchased a set via trading with a fellow CCF member.
