Unsure what caused this. Weighs like a normal dime. Low pressure strike?

As long as you are comparing, does ONE DIME look the same size as your normal dime.

Ok, ONE CENT, is ever ever ever so lightly thicker. The dies are made like that too. As the incuse devices go inwards they get narrower. Witch would indicate that the design did not completely fill the die.
Rest in Peace

Most 1985-D dimes look like this. It's caused by a combination of inadequate upset and excessive obverse die convexity. This particular set of dies was also worn.
