What you guys think of the fractional set? It personally looks really nice to me...pink gold maple leaves, reverse proof, gold leaf of the one ounce coin, etc.
might have to see it in hand first, but I might be buying....only complaint is the cheap clamshell.

^^^ Actual coins (as seen on TSC Coin Show tonight) look great. Pink gold is a nice touch as is the edge lettering.

Only 1oz coin worth to purchase... all others just adding, not the value, but the price. Too frequent "fractional sets" issues.

Don't forget the $5 coin, where the queen looks like Beavis from Beavis and Butthead ... and the First Officer's face looks like it is melting.

true, good coin...was worth to take a look to smile. I hope, in hand it will be better. The real people faces - not only RCM's weak side.

Susanna Blunt Effigy missing from gold set which would have been nicer with the added coin.
Really like the SML fractional silver and ordered one right away. Don't really care about overpaying for the silver.
Holding off on the $20 two Royal Cypher coins until they are available to the dealers.

I like the Longest Reign coin produced by The Royal Mint. It's a 1/2 oz silver coin depicting the effigies used over the years. It's one of the 20 for 20 (British Pounds) series. I have family over there that are sending me one. Looking forward to receiving it :)

I was hesitating on getting the silver fractional set last night. Woke up this morning and it was 75% gone... so I ordered one right away... hopefully it didn't sell out. Has anyone got their orders shipped already?

Well I went down to the post office today and they had two silver fractional sets. The one was already spoken for and the other was available but had small defects on the one ounce coin :( It's a shame because theses coins are GORGEOUS.I pretty much then had shoppers remorse and just thought I won't even bother with these coins...however when I got home My wife was In a good mood and insisted that I order a set online from the mint because I liked them so much and so I did :)...bought the 2016 silver Fractional set and if they aint perfect I'm 100% sending them back to Ottawa until they get it right.
Awesome coins in hand guys, this set is Nice!!

Quote:Now 85% sold on RCM website. The mintage of 7500 is too much to be fully consumed by the collectors. A lot of them went for different types of re-distributors: dealers, re-sellers, and many of these who will send coins for grading and will hope for high grade to sell them. Without checking, assume, that all previous sets since 2013 could be found near issue. The set isn't bad, but let's say the truth: except the "jubilee" QEII effigy, it no way related to the "Historic Reign". Even the year is not 2015, but 2016 - just additional Annual set. I got 2 previous 1oz coins (from previous sets) for near CAD 120 each....will probably do the same with this set.
