1917 Lsq In MS-65 Possibly 66 - Coin Community Forum

terry8835 Pillar of the Community United States 1450 Posts	Posted 11/12/2015 5:34 pm I was at my LCS today and saw a 1917 LSQ in the best condition I have ever seen a coin of that variety. It was slabbed and rated as MS65. The owner said it might be a 66 since it is in an old slab. I was tempted to make an offer on this coin, but I needed a 1919-D for my collection and I got one in VF30 which cost me $440. It took all the folding cash I had. Do you all think there is a good chance a perfect LSQ 1917 has a good chance of appreciating? This coin looked so good I commented that it looked like a replica but it was the real deal. I might make an offer on it Friday if it is still at the shop. Report this Post to the Staff

That's exactly how I am at my LCS. I get good deals because: - I'm a 10+ year loyal customer that comes in EVERY week - I'm 17. lol. Report this Post to the Staff

Usually a dealer will work with you on price or putting the coin away for you until you pay it off if your a good returning customer. get to know your dealer by name as he knows yours. It helps !
