I've been thinking about getting all the silver proof sets of the State Quarters. I got the 2007 silver proof set for christmas and now want the others. Has anyone been watching the prices on these, especially the 1999 is at crazy prices of $200 - $300. have the prices been going up and are they starting to come back down in price?

The 1999 Silver Proof set has been coming down from a high of almost $350. I saw one at a show this weekend for $265. I don't know how much lower it is going, but my gut tells me probably mot much below $225-$250. It was the first year of the Statehood Quarters, and there was and is a lot of interest in them. I am picking up the other sets first, and giving that one time to decrease...I think it will level off then.
