Don't know much about value of error coins, but over $25,000 CDN seems like a lot for this Loonie. Seller says he turned down $6400.00. Think I would have taken it. 321921408918

Looks like some plating, gas bubble effect, maybe 50.00 or so

Even $50 would be generous.

I saw this listing on ebay a year ago and the seller wanted $100,000. You'd think he would offer free shipping as well.

As mentioned earlier a MS66 1921 5 cents, was auctioned yesterday for only around 30,000.00 plus 15% fees, how can this coin remotely be close to asking price.

If I had a coin I felt was worth 20K I wouldn't be pressing down on it to make a clicking noise either

Sorry pennyman Didn't know it was posted before. Notice he has dropped his price $5,000.00 though.

Oh thats ok Jimmy that items always good for a laugh. Seller quote.. Quote: He stated that possibly the coin did not release after the strike and lifted forming an AIR POCKET inside this coin. Miracle error. I should put a $5 bid on it just to get it off ebay. edit I just noticed the 19K start.

Thanks Roger. I knew I posted that loonie somewhere but couldn't find it quickly. I paid much less than $100,000 for it. In the $50 range as I recall. I would be interested in the 2009 with the bubble as a companion piece, but I sense the seller & I have a considerable difference of opinion on what the value should be.

A slow day for posts so I thought I would resurrect this one. Seller has reduced price from $25,000 to $9,500. You have to hurry though, only 1 day left to bid. 322221200974

I remember when the seller wanted $100,000 for this "error" loonie haha! Surprised he is still trying to sell it, I would have given up by now.
