I joined the collector's club at a recent show for $49. You can also sign up here --> http://www.pcgs.com/index.chtml . They give you all the info on the site. As for how long it takes depends on the level of service you choose. I have only used economy 20-30 business day turn around. It seems like longer LOL

The only problem with the $49 membership is that you don't get any free submissions. With the $199 membership, you get enough free regular submissions to pay for the membership price, though all of your complimentary submissions must be submitted at the same time. Overall, a regular submission is going to run around $50 once you figure in the $5 processing fee per submission, the grading fee ($30 for regular-15 day turnaround), and the return shipping (around $15 minimum based on the value of the submission and the number of coins.

While PCGS is definitely considered the top-tier TPG, the fees are a little steep. Their customer service is excellent, though.

I am already a member of PCGS and submit coins relatively regularly. I am willing to help you out and submit your coins with mine if you like. This will save you the membership fee. Please email me and let me know.
