I found a jewelry shop that sells me coins. Usually it's common dates/"junk", usually at or below melt. Yesterday, they had a roll of mostly 1936 and 1936D halves in Good condition. They asked for $8 a coin. Is that a good deal? The price guides show these as $11 in G4.

Pretty average deal. Mintage is still fairly high on those years.

Unless they are higher grades then you may have scored but circulated walkers usually sell for 6-8$ per depending on where you are.

I knew it wasn't a killer deal. It's about what they would cost online. I'll get them before silver goes up any more.
Rest in Peace

Use the grade of VF as a divider. Below VF 16X face is not a good deal for those dates.

I checked them out. Most are VF, even one or two XF. I also have a few 36-S and 41-S in the bunch.
Rest in Peace
