Boy, Was I Surprised!

Last week I found out both my purchase bank and drop bank both use Loomis Armored. After checking with one of the Loomis drivers (they eat at my store several times a week) I found out they don't service 3 banks in our town.

Today I went to one of those banks and decided to open a free checking account so I can purchase kennedys without any hassle. After finishing the paperwork I went over to the tellers and enquired about Kennedys. I now have a standing order for $1000 per week that can be picked up in $500 increments.

I bought $200 in nickels to give me something to do over the next couple days. BOY WAS I SURPRISED when the teller told me they had $16.50 in Kennedys. I asked for those also.

After leaving this bank I went to the bank I had been purchasing Kennedys from, thinking on buying another $150 in nickels. When I walked in there was only 1 teller visible. She is new but had seen me before. As I walked up to her window I glanced at her change try and saw a Kennedy. BOY WAS I SURPRISED when I realized it was a 40%er. I asked for it and she told me she had a whole bunch more Kennedys. Another teller who knows me better walked up about this time and said they had been saving them for me. BOY WAS I SURPRISED when they told me they had $150 worth. I bought them all and told them treats would be heading their way again soon (I take them Frostys from my work a couple times a month)

Got home and looked thru the $16.50. BOY WAS I SURPRISED when I found a 40%er in that group. That's 2 so far for the day that I know of.

I opened the first roll from the $150. BOY WAS I SURPRISED when I found a 1970s Kennedy right on top.

BOY WAS I SURPRISED when the rest of the roll was all 40%ers...and so was the next, and the next, and the next!

Out of 334 Kennedys, I got 297 40%ers and 1 1970s proof!
